Highlights

This guided bus tour departs from Naha and covers the highlights of southern Okinawa in one day. Take in the ocean views at Cape Chinen Park and relax at Mibaru Beach, then explore Gyokusendo Cave and the Ryukyu culture village at Okinawa World with admission included. Taste local seafood and snacks at Itoman Fish Market, and finish with your choice of iias Okinawa Toyosaki (DMM Kariyushi Aquarium) or Umikaji Terrace on Senaga Island. Program

Depart Naha and enjoy the sea views at
Cape Chinen and Mibaru Beach

Depart by bus at 8:00 AM from Prefectural Citizens Park in Naha and spend about 9 hours touring southern Okinawa. Your first stop is Cape Chinen Park, where you can enjoy about 40 minutes of sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and the southern coastline.

Next, spend about 50 minutes at Mibaru Beach, known for its clear water. A glass-bottom boat ride to see marine life is available at your own expense for those who wish.

Explore Gyokusendo Cave and the
Ryukyu culture village at Okinawa World

You will spend about 2 hours 30 minutes at Okinawa World. Explore Gyokusendo, a limestone cave, stroll through the Ryukyu culture village to soak up its traditional atmosphere, and catch a lively Eisa drum performance. Admission to Gyokusendo Cave and the Ryukyu culture village is included, and lunch can be had here or at the next stop at your own expense.

Taste seafood and Okinawan snacks
at Itoman Fish Market

Stop at Itoman Fish Market and the farmers market for about 1 hour to browse and taste fresh local seafood, Okinawan snacks and seasonal produce. Food costs are not included.

Choose one of two final stops

At iias Okinawa Toyosaki (about 130 minutes), you can visit DMM Kariyushi Aquarium or enjoy shopping and dining in the same complex. Aquarium admission is not included. Alternatively, choose Umikaji Terrace on Senaga Island (about 95 minutes), known for its white buildings, ocean views, plane spotting and cafes.

At the end of the day, the bus takes about 30 minutes to return to the Prefectural Office area in Naha at around 5:50 PM.
