Inspired by the geometry of soap bubbles, the National Aquatics Center is covered with more than 3,000 ETFE membrane cushions. Its translucent facade is lightweight and designed to make the most of natural light. Located opposite the Bird's Nest, you can admire both buildings together.
Explore a venue of two Olympic Games
Home to the swimming events of the 2008 Summer Olympics, the venue was transformed into the "Ice Cube" curling venue for the 2022 Winter Olympics. Walk through the grand main hall and soak up the Olympic atmosphere.
Enjoy the blue light show and night view
Your ticket includes the exhibition and the indoor light show. The lights come on from around 6:30 p.m., making the venue glow like a blue crystal. At dusk, walk along the Longxing water system promenade to photograph the reflections of the Water Cube and the Bird's Nest.
※ Opening hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., closed on Mondays.
