Global attraction ticket expert.
This docent tour takes you around the National Palace Museum (Northern Branch) in Taipei for about 2 hours with explanations from a Korean-speaking guide. Of the roughly 700,000 items spanning all of Chinese history, you can easily hear the stories behind signature treasures such as the Jadeite Cabbage and the Meat-Shaped Stone in Korean. Choose between 10:00 and 14:00, meet directly at the museum, and listen to the guide through a wireless receiver.

Meet the guide 15 minutes before your tour time (09:45 or 13:45) in front of the GTS sign opposite the Sun Yat-sen statue on B1 of the museum. The guide checks the list using the booker's Korean name and contact number, and the tour runs for about 2 hours using wireless receivers. The tour covers the Northern Branch only.

Most of the treasures once kept in Beijing's Forbidden City were moved to Taiwan in 1948, and the museum reopened in Taipei in 1965. The collection numbers about 700,000 items, and apart from signature pieces such as the Jadeite Cabbage and the Meat-Shaped Stone, exhibits rotate every 3–6 months. The guide explains the hidden stories of each piece in Korean.

View ceramics, crafts and other artifacts spanning Chinese history in galleries across B1 and three floors above ground. The guide adjusts the tour time depending on conditions on site.
※ Museum admission (TWD 350) and the receiver rental (TWD 50) must be paid to the guide in Taiwan dollars cash on the day of the tour.
※ The museum is closed every Monday (except special opening days).
