Make your own chopsticks
from natural wood with an instructor

Experience the traditional Japanese craft of wooden chopstick making for about 1 hour at a workshop in Suita, Osaka. Choose the wood you like, shape and carve it by hand, sand the surface smooth, and finish it with oil and coating. The instructor guides you through each step in English or Japanese, so beginners can enjoy it with confidence.

Choose your wood from 30 varieties

You can choose the wood for your chopsticks from 30 types. Three standard woods are included, and you can upgrade to premium wood for an additional fee.

Engrave a name to make them truly yours

For an additional fee, you can have a custom name engraved in English, Japanese, or hiragana. Take your finished chopsticks home right after the workshop, making them a great travel keepsake for families, couples, and friends.
