This tour runs as two food courses designed to help you discover Taiwanese food easily and enjoyably. The breakfast course meets at 10:00 at the Lanzhou Market entrance and the dinner course at 19:30 at Exit 1 of MRT Longshan Temple Station, each lasting about 2 hours. Both courses let you taste more than 7 dishes.

Walk a traditional market and taste a Taiwanese breakfast

The breakfast course begins with a stroll through a lively traditional market, where you see local life up close and learn about the fresh ingredients used in Taiwanese cuisine. You then visit a few selected breakfast shops to taste an authentic Taiwanese breakfast and look around the Dadaocheng area, known for its old streets and architecture.

Discover tea culture, from bubble tea to traditional teahouses

Tea is the highlight of the breakfast course. From trendy bubble tea to carefully brewed cold and hot tea at a traditional teahouse, you can feel how deeply tea culture is rooted in the daily life of Taiwanese people.

Taste street food at a historic night market

The dinner course takes you through a lively downtown night market to feel the history of the area where Taipei began. You taste street food featured in the Michelin Guide and visit a Taiwanese convenience store to learn what role convenience stores play in locals' daily lives.
