After pickup from your hotel in central Vang Vieng, you drive north along country roads to the adventure starting point. The drive takes about 30 minutes, and the whole tour lasts about 4 hours. An experienced English-speaking guide looks after your safety throughout and shares stories about the local nature and villages.
Explore the dark water cave on a tube
At Tham Non Cave (Tham None), the water cave, you put on a headlamp, life jacket and tube and move along a rope fixed inside the cave. In the darkness you can see unique rock formations and underground streams up close. The cave experience takes about 1 hour.
Kayak the Nam Song River between limestone mountains
You receive a kayak, paddle and dry bag and paddle along the Nam Song River for about 2 hours. Enjoy Vang Vieng's scenery as you pass towering limestone karst mountains, peaceful riverside villages and green fields. After the activity, you return to Vang Vieng by car and the tour ends.
