Enjoy Barasu Island snorkeling and Yufu Island sightseeing
in one day

Meet your guide around 9:00 at Uehara Port or your hotel in the Uehara area to start the day. One program is held in the morning and one in the afternoon; the order and timing may change depending on the weather and tide that day.

Lunch is on your own, and you can ask your guide for restaurant recommendations. After the tour, you will be dropped off at Uehara Port or your hotel around 16:00.

Cross by boat to Barasu Island and go snorkeling

Barasu Island is a small island formed by piled-up coral fragments. After stopping at the island by boat to enjoy the view, you snorkel in the surrounding sea. In the highly transparent water you can see colorful coral and fish up close. Snorkeling gear, a life jacket and special shoes are included, and a wetsuit is provided in winter.

Ride a water buffalo cart across the sea to Yufu Island

Yufu Island is a small island covered by a subtropical botanical garden, reached from Iriomote Island by water buffalo cart across the sea. On the cart, the elderly driver sings island songs and plays the sanshin. Yufu Island admission is included.

Guides support you carefully, even if it is your first time

Before each program your guide gives a detailed briefing, and you take part with full safety gear, so beginners can join. You receive photo data taken during the tour, and hot showers are available afterward.
