This is an afternoon set plan for guests staying on Iriomote Island. Enjoy canyoning in a gorge in the afternoon and a sunset SUP or canoe in the evening, making the most of Iriomote's nature in one day. The island's subtropical biome has a unique ecosystem at each field, so you can feel its world-recognized biodiversity firsthand.

Thrilling canyoning with waterfall jumps

Use your whole body to make your way down a gorge carved by Iriomote's nature. The layered waterfalls and rocks are like a natural obstacle course. Climb rocks, jump into the river, swim and feel nature with your whole body, and when you see a plunge pool, jump in. The guide gives a careful briefing before you start, so first-timers are welcome.

Sunset SUP or canoe in the evening

After canyoning, return to Uehara Port or your accommodation for a break. Then meet again, head to a recommended sunset spot, and cruise leisurely through the sunset scenery on a SUP or canoe. You can see Iriomote's evening scenery that daytime activities alone cannot show. SUP is for ages 12 and up, so children aged 6 to 11 should choose the canoe.

Safety gear and photo data included

Safety gear such as a life jacket, special shoes and helmet, and full SUP/canoe equipment are included in the price, and the guide stays with you. You also receive photo data taken during the tour and a participant-only special page with restaurant coupons and hidden spot information.

※ The tour takes about 6 hours including transfers. The meeting time for the sunset activity varies by season and the guide will tell you on the day.
※ The schedule may change depending on weather, tide and the number of participants, and the tour may take place on the sea instead of in the mangroves.
