Spend about 3 hours making your own Vietnamese pottery at The Hangart, located on the coastal road between Da Nang and Hoi An. Start with a guided walk through a space recreating 8 traditional Vietnamese handicraft villages, then relax with a welcome drink and a cold towel. After learning about the history and techniques of Vietnamese pottery from your instructor, shape clay on a hand-turned wheel and decorate your piece with patterns and paint. Artisans glaze and fire your creation, then pack and ship it to your address (shipping fee not included).

Tour the craft villages at The Hangart
and make your own pottery
This roughly 3-hour pottery experience takes place at The Hangart on Da Nang's coastal road. It begins with a short guided tour of 8 traditional Vietnamese craft villages and continues with a pottery workshop where you shape and decorate clay on a wheel with an instructor. Classes are held in Vietnamese and English, with 2–10 participants per session.
Explore 8 traditional craft villages

The experience starts with a 15-minute guided tour of 8 traditional Vietnamese handicraft villages at The Hangart. After the tour, enjoy a welcome drink and a cold towel, take a short break, and then move to the pottery studio.
Shape clay on the wheel and add patterns

Learn about the history and techniques of Vietnamese pottery from your instructor, then shape clay yourself using a hand-turned wheel. Once your piece takes shape, draw patterns and paint it to make it your own.
Receive your finished piece, fired by artisans

After the workshop, artisans glaze your work and fire it twice to finish it. Glazing and firing take about 3–4 weeks, and your finished pottery is packed and shipped to your address. Shipping fees are paid separately.
※ You cannot take your piece home on the day; it is shipped after 3–4 weeks.
※ Transportation to and from the venue is not included.
