From Da Nang/Hoi An/Hue: Bach Ma National Park Trekking & Overnight Camping

Spend two days trekking and camping
in Bach Ma National Park

This 2-day trekking and camping tour starts with hotel pickup in Hoi An (06:30), Da Nang (07:30) or Hue (08:00-08:30). Walk a trekking route of about 10 km with your guide to the summit viewpoint, five lakes and waterfall, and spend the night at a forest campsite. Park admission, camping tents, meals listed in the itinerary and domestic travel insurance are included.

Climb to Hai Vong Dai on the Bach Ma summit

Start at the Bach Ma exhibition hall to learn about the park's rich biodiversity, rare flora and fauna, and its history as a French mountain resort once called the "mini Da Lat" of central Vietnam.

Drive to the 12 km mark, then ride a motorbike with a forest ranger or guide to the trailhead. Trek through lush rainforest to Hai Vong Dai, the 1,450 m summit viewpoint, for sweeping views of Lang Co Beach, Hai Van Pass, Truoi Lake, Cau Hai Lagoon, Chan May Port and the open sea.

Hike to the five lakes and Do Quyen Waterfall

Continue trekking to Ngu Ho, five crystal-clear lakes hidden deep in the forest, where you can rest or swim. After a packed lunch, hike to Do Quyen Waterfall, surrounded by jungle and misty mountain air, as it plunges from a 300 m cliff.

End with a campfire and sunrise

In the late afternoon, transfer to Thong Nang campsite near the 17 km mark and stay at a quiet campsite beneath tall Thong Nang trees. In the evening, enjoy a barbecue with warm dishes and drinks prepared on site, and relax around the campfire.

At 05:00 the next day, hike up to Hai Vong Dai to watch the sunrise above the clouds. Have breakfast at the campsite at 07:30, enjoy some free time, and finish the program at 09:00 before returning to Hue or Da Nang/Hoi An.
