After pickup from your hotel in central District 1 between 6:30 and 7:00 AM, ride an air-conditioned minivan for about 2.5 hours to Dong Thap. Along the way, your guide shares stories about the Mekong Delta region.

Boat and canoe rides, a traditional Vietnamese lunch, entrance fees, snacks and water are included, and you return to your District 1 hotel around 7:00 PM.

Arriving in Cao Lanh, explore the Xeo Quyt historical relic site, an important place during the Vietnam War. Travel by rowing boat along narrow canals surrounded by lush cajuput forest and hear how local people endured the war.

Enjoy rice fields and lotus ponds in the Cao Lanh eco-area

Move on to the Cao Lanh eco-area to take in green rice fields and blooming lotus ponds and join a variety of recreational activities. Around 1:00 PM, enjoy a lunch of Mekong Delta specialties at a local restaurant.

Visit a water lily craft workshop and a local market

After lunch, visit a water lily craft workshop to watch skilled artisans at work and learn about the craft's sustainable practices. Then enjoy free time at a local market, where you can buy local specialties such as mango, guava, plums and lotus seeds as souvenirs. You head back to Ho Chi Minh City around 4:00 PM.
