Your day starts with pickup from your hotel in central Hue at 6:30 AM and a banh mi breakfast. Travel north in an air-conditioned vehicle to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and the Vinh Moc Tunnels, and with the full-day option continue after lunch by boat to Phong Nha Cave. An English-speaking guide accompanies groups of up to 12 people.

The open tour option visits the DMZ and the Vinh Moc Tunnels, then drops you off at your hotel in Phong Nha so you can continue your trip. With the full-day option, you can be dropped off at your hotel in Phong Nha around 4:00 PM or return to Hue, arriving around 7:30 PM.

Hear the history of the DMZ
at the Ben Hai River and Hien Luong Bridge

Travel through the DMZ along the Ben Hai River and the Hien Luong Bridge, the former line that divided the country into north and south. Along the way, your guide brings the Vietnam War era to life with vivid stories.

Walk through the underground village of Vinh Moc

The Vinh Moc Tunnels are an underground village where around 300 villagers endured years of bombing. Walk with your guide for about an hour through the multi-level passages where families lived and children were born. The Vinh Moc Tunnels entrance ticket is included.

Ride a boat into Phong Nha Cave

With the full-day option, enjoy a Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant in Phong Nha, then take a boat along the Son River, surrounded by limestone karst mountains, into Phong Nha Cave. Spend about an hour among stalactites and stalagmites formed over countless years.
