This is an admission ticket to the observation deck of Fukuoka Tower, a 234-meter tower on the Fukuoka seafront. From the deck you can see the city, Hakata Bay and even the Sefuri Mountains. It is open daily from 09:30 to 22:00; hours may change, so please check before your visit.

Fukuoka's sailboat-inspired landmark

Opened in 1989 and designed by Nikken Sekkei, Fukuoka Tower has a sleek design meant to evoke a sailboat. The city lights reflected on its mirrored exterior are a sight in themselves.

Take in sea and city views from the deck

From the observation deck, enjoy Hakata Bay spreading out to the sea, the neatly planned cityscape and the green Sefuri Mountains.

LED lights and night views after dark

After sunset, LED lighting that changes color with the seasons and special events illuminates the tower. After taking in the night view, relax at a nearby café with traditional Japanese sweets or coffee and pastries.
