Taman Dukuh is an organic farm cooking school in Taro village, north of Ubud. This couples class is an evening program of about 5 hours where you cook Balinese dishes together and finish with a candlelit dinner. The class is run in English, can be tailored to dietary needs, and comes with a cookbook.

Tour the farm at sunset

At 16:00 the shuttle takes you from the Ubud meeting point to the farm. From 17:00 to 17:45 you tour the farm and discover the fresh ingredients used in Balinese cooking.

Cook a three-course meal together

From 18:00 to 20:00, the instructors guide you through a three-course meal, from appetizers to the main course plus a secret finale. You hear the secrets and stories behind local flavors and family recipes, and pick up kitchen tricks to use at home.

Dine by candlelight

Enjoy the dishes you made together in a romantic, candlelit setting. After dinner, the shuttle leaves the farm at 21:00.
