Set off in the morning
for desert activities at the Al Khatim Desert
After pickup from a hotel or mall in Abu Dhabi, you'll travel across the sandy landscape to a traditional Bedouin-style camp deep in the desert. The tour runs in the morning before the midday heat, so you can enjoy the desert while it's relatively cool.
Enjoy dune bashing in a 4x4
Ride up and down the dunes in a Land Cruiser for about 45 minutes. The vehicle is shared by up to 6 people.
Ride a camel and sandboard down the dunes
Experience the desert like the Bedouins of the past on a short camel ride of about 5 minutes, then slide down the golden dunes on a sandboard for about 10 minutes.
Relax with refreshments at the camp
After the activities, enjoy light refreshments such as Arabic tea, coffee, dates and water at the camp and take in the peaceful desert atmosphere. At the end of the tour, you'll be dropped off at your hotel.
