Program
Depart from Kathmandu
and climb the Nagarkot viewing tower
After pickup from your accommodation in the Kathmandu Valley, drive about 1 hour to Nagarkot, a hill station at 2,175 m. Enjoy the scenery with your guide for about 40 minutes at the Nagarkot Geodetic Survey Tower. On clear days, the Himalayas stretch wide from the Annapurna range in the west to Mount Everest in the east, with Langtang and Ganesh Himal in between.
Cross the Rani Jhula suspension bridge
Drive about 20 minutes to the Rani Jhula suspension bridge. Spend about 20 minutes crossing the bridge with your guide and enjoying the landscape of terraced hills and forests. An extra fee is paid on site here.
Discover Newari architecture at Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Drive about 25 minutes to Bhaktapur, known as the "City of Devotees". Explore the Durbar Square area with your guide for about 1 hour, including the five-tiered Nyatapola Temple in Taumadhi Square and the 15th-century royal Palace of 55 Windows, famous for its intricate wood carvings. Dattatreya Square, home to the Peacock Window known as the "Mona Lisa of Nepal", is another highlight of the city.
Return to Kathmandu
After your visit, drive about 45 minutes back to your starting point in the Kathmandu Valley. The tour lasts about 6 hours and 30 minutes including travel time.
※ The Bhaktapur Durbar Square entrance fee (NPR 2,000 per person) is not included and must be paid on site in local currency.
