Highlights
This day trip takes you by coach from Paris to Giverny in Normandy, the village where Claude Monet lived and painted. Admission to Monet's House is included, so you can freely explore the artist's house and two gardens while listening to an audio guide app downloaded to your phone. See the pond famous for its water lilies and the Japanese bridge, then enjoy a village stroll and a visit to the Museum of Impressionisms, all in one day.
Program
Take a coach from Paris
to Monet's village of Giverny
Depart by coach at 8:15 AM from the meeting point in central Paris. The peaceful Normandy village of Giverny is where Impressionist master Claude Monet created his most beautiful works.
Explore Monet's house and gardens with an audio guide
Tour Monet's house and gardens, still preserved in their original state, at your own pace with the audio guide in an app on your phone. In the water garden, cross the Japanese bridge and see the pond famous for its water lilies and willows, and along the paths of the Clos Normand, discover colorful flower beds.
End the day with a village stroll and the Museum of Impressionisms
Walk the streets of the small village and browse galleries of painters and sculptors. You can visit the Museum of Impressionisms on a self-guided basis (optional). Around 6 PM, meet at the coach parking to return to Paris; the tour ends at the original meeting point.
