Meet at the Opéra Garnier at 08:00, or depart from your accommodation if you booked the hotel pickup option. During the approx. 1.5-hour drive through the Normandy countryside, an English-speaking guide shares stories about Claude Monet, Impressionism and French art history.

Explore Claude Monet's House and Gardens

From 09:15 to 11:00, explore the house and private studio preserved just as Monet lived in them. Admission is included. Stroll through the Normandy-style flower garden and see the water lily pond and the Japanese bridge for yourself.

Your guide explains how Monet captured the changing light and seasons in his works, and tells you about his later works including the Water Lilies series and how Giverny shaped the history of modern painting.

Enjoy free time in Giverny village

After visiting Monet's house, you have about 2 hours of free time. Stroll through the village with its flower-lined streets, art galleries and cafés, or optionally visit the Museum of Impressionisms Giverny, home to works by Monet and other Impressionists. Have lunch on your own at a restaurant or café in the village; your guide will recommend local dishes.

Return to Paris in the afternoon

Leave Giverny at 13:00 and arrive in Paris around 14:30 after a drive of up to 1.5 hours. Drop-off is at the Opéra Garnier, or at your accommodation if you booked the hotel pickup option.
