National Taiwan Museum
Founded in 1908, the National Taiwan Museum is renowned as the oldest museum in Taiwan. It showcases Taiwan's natural history, anthropology, and historical artifacts, offering a wide range of themed exhibitions that offer a deeper understanding of Taiwan's history and culture.
Sujin Museum
Immerse yourself in a world of charming miniatures! Though small, this is a special place where you can appreciate the beauty and intricacy of miniature art. Started by miniature collector Liu Banchen, you'll find European-style miniatures, world-famous landmarks, and fantasy-themed pieces.
Taipei Museum of Contemporary Art
Opened in 2001, the Taipei Museum of Contemporary Art, officially known as the Taipei Museum of Contemporary Art, is a hub of contemporary art in Taiwan. Come experience a range of complex yet artistically challenging contemporary art, including paintings, sculptures, installations, and video art.
Railway Ministry Park
The National Taiwan Museum's Railway Park was once the site of the Taipei Machinery Bureau during the Qing Dynasty, and was home to Taiwan's first modern train repair industrial complex. After a period of disuse, the space was reborn in 2006 as a cultural park dedicated to railway history, a collaboration between the museum and the National Taiwan Railway Administration.
