Sapi Island

Sapi Island means 'Cow Island' in Malay and is located just off the southwestern tip of Gaya Island. This 25-acre island boasts one of the most beautiful beaches in the park and is especially popular for snorkeling and scuba diving. It is somewhat crowded with foreign tourists from 10 am to 4 pm, but after the last ferry leaves, only guests remain and you can feel a secluded and peaceful atmosphere. Basic tourist facilities such as jetties, picnic shelters, barbecue facilities, tables, changing rooms, and toilets are also well equipped.

Manukan Island

Manukan Island is the second largest island in the park and the most popular island for locals in Kota Kinabalu. Beautiful beaches stretch along the southern coastline, and the beach at the eastern end boasts the most outstanding scenery. Coral reefs are formed near the coast, making it an ideal environment for snorkeling, diving, and swimming.
