An Immersive Journey Through 4-5 Types of Chinese Tea
Embark on a slow exploration of Chinese tea with a tea master at MingCha Tea House. You'll get to taste 4-5 carefully selected teas from a wide variety including green tea, scented tea, black tea, oolong, white tea, and pu-erh. Compare the appearance and aroma of dry and brewed leaves, and directly experience how the taste and scent change with multiple infusions. Learn about the tea's origin, history, cultural significance, and how harvest time, climate, and processing methods influence its characteristics.
Mastering Traditional Chinese Tea Brewing

This workshop goes beyond simple tasting; you'll also learn the traditional Chinese method of brewing tea using a gaiwan. The tea master will guide you step-by-step, from handling the water and tea leaves to extracting the tea's unique characteristics. Through hands-on practice, you'll gain the skills to brew Chinese tea more deliciously at home. It's an engaging experience for both regular tea drinkers and those new to Chinese tea.
Tea Pairing Experience

During the workshop, you'll also experience pairing different teas with complementary snacks. After fully appreciating the tea's aroma and flavor on its own, taste it with food to discover how their flavors interact and enhance each other. This pairing session offers a new way to enjoy Chinese tea and provides inspiration for creating your own tea pairings even after your trip.
