Travel by coach from your Cairns hotel to the Kuranda rainforest. Ride through the rainforest aboard the Army Duck, a six-wheel-drive amphibious vehicle used in World War II, as an experienced driver helps you spot wildlife and explains the plants and trees that make up the rainforest. After the Army Duck tour, you can taste exotic fruits and locally made ice cream at the Tropical Treats orchard.

Feed kangaroos at
the Koala & Wildlife Park

At the Koala & Wildlife Park, see native Australian animals such as wombats, crocodiles, lizards and birds up close. You can hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies.

Experience Pamagirri Aboriginal culture

Follow a Pamagirri guide along the Dreamtime Walk to where the Rainbow Serpent trail leads, and learn how to throw a traditional boomerang. After a spear-throwing demonstration and didgeridoo performance, enjoy a lively, interactive traditional Aboriginal dance show at the Rainforest Amphitheatre.

Enjoy free time in Kuranda Village

Take a shuttle to Kuranda Village and spend free time exploring the markets and galleries. You can also visit the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary if you wish (entry fee not included). At the end of the day, return to your Cairns hotel by coach.
