After pickup from your Cairns accommodation, board the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and glide just above the forest canopy, looking down on pristine rainforest. We recommend stopping at Red Peak and Barron Falls stations along the way. When you arrive in Kuranda, take a shuttle to Rainforestation Nature Park.

Explore the rainforest and water on an Army Duck

Explore the rainforest aboard a six-wheel-drive amphibious Army Duck that travels over land and water. Your experienced Duck driver helps you spot wildlife and tells you about the plants and trees that make up the surrounding rainforest. After the tour, you can taste rare fruits and locally made ice cream at the Tropical Treats orchard.

Enjoy free time in Kuranda village

Take the shuttle bus from the nature park to Kuranda village. You will have free time to browse the markets and shops at your own pace.

Return to Cairns on the Kuranda Scenic Railway

End the day by boarding the Kuranda Scenic Railway back to Cairns. Travel through tunnels and over bridges, passing Stoney Creek and Barron Falls along the way. On arrival in Cairns, you are dropped off at your accommodation.
