This tour from Sapporo visits Hokkaido's signature natural sights, including Lake Toya and Noboribetsu Jigokudani (Hell Valley), in one day. Look out over Lake Toya, Japan's third-largest caldera lake, from the observatory and taste Hokkaido dairy products at Lake Hill Farm. Pass by the young volcano Showa-Shinzan and walk the wooden boardwalks of steaming Noboribetsu Jigokudani. In winter, you can optionally ride a snowmobile across the snowfields (at extra cost).

Leave Sapporo to see lakes, volcanoes
and a geothermal valley in one day
This day tour departs from central Sapporo and returns in the evening. Traveling by vehicle with a Chinese- and English-speaking guide, you will start at a seasonal first stop and then visit the Lake Toya observatory, Lake Hill Farm, Showa-Shinzan and Noboribetsu Jigokudani. Tour details will be sent by email before 19:00 on the day before departure.
Enjoy Meisui Park or a snowmobile ride, depending on the season

From around April 1 to November 30, the first stop is Meisui Park, a nature park known for its clear spring water. Take a leisurely walk and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
In winter, from around December 1 to March 30, you can join an optional snowmobile experience led by a professional instructor (at your own expense). If there is not enough snow or the weather makes it unsafe, you will visit Meisui Park instead.
Stop at the Lake Toya observatory and Lake Hill Farm

From the Lake Toya observatory, take in the sweeping view of the mountain-ringed caldera lake, which changes with the seasons: fresh greenery in spring and summer, autumn colors and snowy scenery in winter. Then head to Lake Hill Farm, known for its fresh dairy products, where you can try local milk, ice cream and other Hokkaido specialties (at your own expense).
Pass Showa-Shinzan and walk through Noboribetsu Jigokudani

At Showa-Shinzan, one of Japan's youngest volcanoes, you have free time to view the volcanic landscape, browse souvenir shops and have lunch (at your own expense). Finally, walk the wooden boardwalks of Noboribetsu Jigokudani, Hokkaido's best-known geothermal valley, among steaming vents and bubbling hot springs. The tour then returns to central Sapporo, ending in the evening.
※ On weekends and Japanese public holidays, the route, order of stops and stop times may be adjusted due to traffic or early closures.
※ The snowmobile experience depends on weather and snow conditions, and snow and scenery vary by season and weather and are not guaranteed.
※ Traffic jams are frequent during Japan's peak holiday season. The operator is not responsible for missed dinners, flights or Shinkansen trains due to traffic delays.
