This is a private scuba diving experience with a dedicated instructor in the Blue Cave in Onna Village, Okinawa. No diving license or experience is needed, and your instructor supports you at your own pace from start to finish. While you float in the sapphire-blue cave and swim with tropical fish, your instructor captures photos and videos with a high-end camera, all included at no extra cost. Only 4 groups can join this private tour per day.

Program

Your first dive in the Blue Cave
with a dedicated instructor

Unlike regular group tours, each group is assigned its own dedicated instructor on this private scuba diving tour. After meeting at Cape Maeda and receiving a safety briefing, you walk slowly from the beach into the sea at your own pace. No diving license or prior experience is required.

Swim with tropical fish in clear water

The sea around Onna Village is known for its clear visibility and abundant marine life. As you float in the sapphire-blue light of the cave and swim close to tropical fish, your instructor acts as your personal photographer and captures your underwater moments with a high-end camera. All photos and videos are included at no extra cost.

Comfortable even for beginners

It is fine if you have never dived or are not a strong swimmer. A PADI-trained instructor supports you patiently, and full diving equipment is provided. Comprehensive insurance is also included. The tour is designed for guests aged 16–55 and suits families, couples and beginners.

Beat the crowds with an early start

The Blue Cave gets very crowded during the peak summer season from June to the end of September. The operator starts tours from 7:00 a.m., so if you want to avoid the crowds in peak season, the 7:00 a.m. or 9:00 a.m. slots are recommended. The tour lasts about 1.5 hours.

※ The Blue Cave is managed by the local government. If it is closed or sea conditions are poor, an alternative tour is offered at a nearby beach, and if you do not agree to the alternative, you will receive a full refund. Entry to the Blue Cave is not guaranteed.
※ Marine life lives in the wild, so sightings are not guaranteed.
