Program

Get picked up at your hotel
and head to Kurima Island's night jungle

Ride the pickup vehicle (a silver HiAce or a white one-box van) from your accommodation on Miyakojima to Kurima Island. After getting off at the Kurimajima Ritoshinko Total Center and a short walk, the tour continues on foot around Tako Park for about 1.5 hours.

Explore the subtropical jungle by flashlight

Light your way with a special flashlight as you walk through Kurima Island's subtropical jungle. Look for the various creatures that appear along the path, while an experienced professional guide accompanies you throughout the tour for a safe and fun experience. You may encounter the endangered coconut crab, but depending on the season or timing, you may not see one.

Admire the stars and Milky Way on clear nights

On clear nights, you can enjoy stargazing and may even see the Milky Way in the night sky over Kurima Island. A photo service is provided during the tour.

Children receive a handmade souvenir medal

At the end of the tour, child participants receive a handmade coconut crab medal as a souvenir. After the tour, you will be driven back to your accommodation on Miyakojima.
