Start your visit at the
Mutianyu ticket office

The Mutianyu Great Wall is near Bohai Town in Huairou District, Beijing. Go to the Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area Ticket Office on your booked date and session to enter. A shuttle bus runs between the scenic area entrance and the ticket checkpoint at the foot of the wall.

Walk the restored walls and watchtowers

Walk along carefully restored walls and ancient watchtowers and take in the views of dense forests and winding hills. The history and culture exhibits introduce the Great Wall and the history of the Ming dynasty.

Visit during your session

The scenic area operates in two sessions, morning and afternoon. In peak season (March 16 to November 15): morning 07:30-12:00, afternoon 12:00-17:00. In off-peak season (November 16 to March 15): morning 08:00-12:00, afternoon 12:00-17:30. The cable car and slideway require an additional fee on site.
