The tour starts with a ride on the Sagano Romantic Train. From the train you can enjoy views of Kyoto's mountains and the Hozugawa River. An English-speaking guide accompanies you, with a maximum of 9 participants. Train use and the meeting point depend on the option you choose.

Enjoy a boat ride down the Hozugawa River

Next, board a boat and travel down the Hozugawa River. Along calm and thrilling stretches alike, you take in Kyoto's valley scenery up close.

Walk through the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove

After the boat ride, walk through Arashiyama's famous bamboo grove. You can take photos along the path between the towering bamboo.

End the day at an Arashiyama onsen

Finally, relax in natural hot spring water at a traditional Arashiyama onsen surrounded by nature. Onsen admission is not included and must be paid separately if you wish to use it.
