The shop is a 5-minute walk from Kiyomizu-dera Temple. After checking in at reception, choose your favorite kimono and get dressed with help from the staff. The shop is open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; please arrive 5 minutes before your booked time.

Wear a kimono or yukata to suit the season

Kimonos are rented from October to May, and yukatas from June to September. Choose from various styles and colors; a hanhaba obi (half-width belt), small Japanese bag, socks, and Japanese shoes are included. Hair styling is available for an extra 1,500 yen.

Walk around Kyoto in your kimono until 6:00 PM

Once dressed, feel free to explore Kiyomizu-dera and the surrounding streets. The shop offers free luggage storage, so you can travel light. Return to the shop by 6:00 PM on the same day to return your outfit and change back into your clothes.
