and a snack set at A-Mei Teahouse
Arrive at the teahouse on your reserved date and time and show your paper voucher to be seated. Brew carefully selected Taiwanese high mountain oolong tea yourself with guidance on how to brew it, and pair it with handmade snacks such as mung bean cake, brown sugar mochi, milk plum and sesame crisps. Snacks may be replaced with others of equal quality depending on the teahouse. You also receive an A-Mei Teahouse postcard.
An iconic Jiufen teahouse on the site of an old blacksmith's shop
After gold was discovered in the Keelung River in the 1890s, Jiufen became a famous gold-mining town in Asia and was even called "Little Shanghai" in its heyday. A-Mei Teahouse stands on the site of what was once Jiufen's only blacksmith's shop, and its Japanese-style wooden exterior has made it one of Jiufen's top photo spots.
Gaze at the mountain and sea views from the window
By day you can see the mountains and sea, and in the evening the lantern-lit streets of Jiufen from the window. It is a relaxing place to enjoy tea with your partner, family or friends.
※ It can be hard to get a reservation in the evening due to crowds. To avoid the crowds, we recommend booking a time before 15:30.

How to get there:
We recommend taking bus 1062 from Exit 2 of MRT Zhongxiao Fuxing Station and getting off at the Jiufen stop. You can also take a train to Ruifang Station and transfer to a bus to Jiufen, or go by car or taxi.
