The Lin Family Mansion and Garden is a Chinese-style garden that a wealthy family built with great care to entertain guests and enjoy a leisurely life. Although it was damaged many times by natural disasters, war and the passage of time, repeated restoration based on expert research has brought back much of its original appearance. Stroll through the garden's four sections

The garden is divided into four main sections. There are Jigu Study and Fangjian Studio, used for study; Laiqing Pavilion, where honored guests stayed and gatherings were held, with its annexes Kaixuan Yixiao Pavilion and Xiangyu Yi for flower viewing.

It continues to Dingjing Hall, used as a banquet hall, the waterside Yuebo Pavilion, Guanjia Tower and the banyan pond. Take your time admiring the architecture of the old mansion along the lush garden and pondside pavilions.

Look for the details of flower windows and wooden carvings

More than 30 styles of decorative flower windows are placed throughout the garden in harmony with the scenery. The brackets of the wooden buildings are also decorated with arches in many forms, so the closer you look, the more variety you will find.
