Su'ao Cold Spring was formed by abundant rainfall and thick limestone layers, and it is Taiwan's best-known calcium bicarbonate spring. The water is colorless, odorless and crystal clear, staying at around 21–22°C all year round. It feels quite cold when you first get in, but after about 5 minutes your whole body warms up, and the tiny bubbles constantly rising from the bottom make it feel like soaking in sugar-free soda.

Cool off in the outdoor public cold spring bath

The public cold spring bath is an outdoor pool where you bathe in light clothing. The park has changing rooms, showers (no hot water), lockers and accessible facilities. Towels are not provided, so be sure to bring your own.

Enjoy hot and cold springs privately in a room for two

Enjoy a 50-minute bath for two in a private bath with a Japanese-style atmosphere and the scent of wood. Depending on your option, you can use a traditional bath for two, a VIP hot and cold spring room for two, or a premium hot and cold spring bath with a sauna (oven). Some options come with snacks such as cold spring ice cream, handmade tofu pudding or toast.

Enjoy the Qixingling trail and seafood dishes too

Climb the Qixingling trail for views over Su'ao Bay, the Pacific Ocean, Guishan Island (Turtle Island) and the Lanyang Plain. The park is close to Nanfang'ao Fishing Port, and you can enjoy seafood dishes such as seafood hot pot udon and seafood congee inside the park.
