Trek from Y Linh Ho via Lao Chai
to Ta Van village

On arrival in Sapa, your guide meets you at the bus station and you have lunch at a local restaurant before starting the trek. Pass Y Linh Ho, walk through rice fields and follow the Muong Hoa River to Lao Chai, a Black Hmong village, enjoying views of the Hoang Lien Son mountains. In the late afternoon you reach Ta Van, home of the Giay people.
Share dinner with a Ta Van family

Check in at the homestay and meet your Giay host family. Relax and take in mountain village life at sunset, then cook local dishes with the family and enjoy dinner together. In the evening you can also enjoy music at a nearby local bar and meet other travelers.
Trek through bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai

On day 2, have breakfast prepared by your host family and continue with a moderate trek. Walk through rice fields and bamboo forest, stop at Giang Ta Chai, a Red Dao village, for panoramic views, and cross the Giang Ta Chai bridge to the main road.
Return to the bungalow to shower and have lunch, then a van takes you back to the Sapa bus station. Enjoy free time to stroll or shop in Sapa town. On round-trip Hanoi options, the bus leaves around 3:30 PM and arrives in Hanoi around 9:30 PM.
