Meet the stars and the sunrise
on the Uyuni Salt Flat at dawn
You are picked up at 3:00 a.m. from your hotel in Uyuni or Colchani and travel about 30 minutes by private jeep/SUV. This private tour spends about 5 hours on the salt flat for stargazing, sunrise viewing, photos and breakfast, with an English-speaking guide.
Observe the Milky Way and constellations with tailored commentary
On the quiet salt flat, observe the clear night sky, the Milky Way and constellations while listening to your guide's personalized astronomy commentary. An advanced telescope is available on request at an extra cost.
Admire sunrise reflections on the flooded salt flat
Around sunrise, head into an area covered with water to see the sky mirrored on the salt flat. Waterproof rubber boots are provided so you can walk on the water and take photos. Finally, enjoy a private outdoor breakfast with coffee and an aperitif in the middle of the salt flat before returning to Uyuni.

Pickup is available from any hotel in Uyuni town and hotels in the Colchani area (such as Hotel Luna Salada and Palacio de Sal). Please wait at the hotel reception or main entrance from 10 minutes before the pickup time (3:00 a.m.). Your guide-driver will greet you with a sign showing your name. The tour ends in Uyuni.
