Uyuni Salt Flats Sunset & Stargazing Tour - Shared or Private (4 Hours)

Enjoy the sunset and starlight
on the Uyuni Salt Flats

The tour starts at 4:30 PM at the Nomadex office in the town of Uyuni, and hotel pickup is available on request. Ride a 6-seat 4x4 vehicle on a scenic drive of about 20 minutes to the Uyuni Salt Flats. You can choose either a shared group or a private group.

Capture the colorful sunset and mirror effect

For about 1.5 hours, watch the sky turn brilliant colors as the sun sets and capture the optical illusions created by the endless white salt flats. Waterproof Wellington boots are provided so you can comfortably enjoy the mirror effect even where water has pooled.

Admire the Milky Way and constellations

When it gets dark, the Milky Way and constellations appear. For about an hour, sip warm coffee, take starlight photos and enjoy the quiet night on the salt flats. Then drive about 30 minutes back to Uyuni, arriving around 8:30 PM.

※ The mirror effect can be seen year-round when there is a thin layer of water, but after the dry season (usually September to November) the water level may be lower depending on the weather.
