See the highlights of the Uyuni Salt Flat
in a single day

This full-day tour departs from Uyuni and visits the train cemetery, Colchani village, the salt flat and Incahuasi Island in turn, finishing with the sunset over the salt flat. You travel by vehicle, with commentary in English or Spanish depending on the option you choose.

Stop at the train cemetery and Colchani village

First, make a short stop at the train cemetery, where rusty locomotives have stood still since the 1940s. Next, stop at Colchani village on the edge of the salt flat to visit a salt processing factory and learn about the properties of salt and handicrafts made from it.

Enjoy a meal in the middle of the salt flat

Around noon, head onto the vast salt flat. As you explore, see how salt is extracted and enjoy a local meal on the salt flat.

Explore Cactus Island and watch the sunset

After the meal, visit Incahuasi Island, famous for its giant cacti, and enjoy 40 minutes of free time. The island entrance fee is not included and must be paid on site. The tour ends with the sunset over the salt flat before returning to Uyuni.

※ During the rainy season from January to April, the itinerary may change depending on the weather, and Incahuasi Island, located in the center of the salt flat, may not be accessible due to standing water.
