Installing the eSIM
One QR code can be used on only one device. Once installed, it is linked to that device and cannot be transferred to another.
- Print the QR code attached to your booking or save it on another device in advance.
- In Settings, open "Cellular" (iOS) or "SIM Card Manager" (Android).
- While connected to the internet, tap "Add Cellular Plan" (iOS) or "Add SIM Card" (Android) and scan the QR code to install.
- If scanning fails, manually enter the "SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code" from your booking voucher.
- If steps 3 or 4 fail, your phone may be locked by your home carrier. Contact your carrier to unlock it before using the eSIM.
Using the eSIM
- Turn off your primary SIM and turn on the eSIM network.
- Enable "Cellular" (iOS) or "SIM Card" (Android).
- Turn on "Data roaming".
- If you still can't connect, configure the APN and restart your phone.
APN settings
- iOS: Settings - Cellular - Cellular Plan (select eSIM) - Cellular Data Network - Enter APN
- Android: Settings - Connections - Mobile Networks - Select eSIM - Access Point Names (APN) - Create new APN or Edit APN
- Enter APN: cmhk, then restart your phone.
If you have a problem
If you run into issues, please do not delete the installed eSIM. Send screenshots of your phone settings to customer support for quick assistance.
