Amazing tour to the Ba Na Hills, definitely a must see. Nina was an amazing guide, her bubbly and outgoing personality made this tour super fun, especially for me as a solo traveller! When booking the tour, I thought it "only" included the trip to the Ba Na Hills, cable car round-trip, and the entrance to the golden bridge with dinner. It was a pleasant surprise to find out that on top of that we got to go to the summit of the Ba Na hill, see the Linh Ung Pagoda, ride the Alpine coaster, visit the flower garden, Le Jardin D’Amour, and drink some beer along with the dinner! We also got to take pictures on the golden bridge while it was bright, and later on, after it'd already gotten dark. It was quite windy and rainy (but still a great experience); luckily Nina had prepared raincoats for all of us, so we didn't get drenched. Can only recommend this tour, especially with Nina!

Highlights

This tour picks you up from your accommodation in Da Nang or Hoi An, takes you to Ba Na Hills and up the mountain by cable car to explore the Golden Bridge. The Sunset All-Inclusive options depart in the afternoon after the daytime crowds have left, so you can stroll the Golden Bridge, Linh Ung Pagoda and the flower gardens in soft light at a relaxed pace. After sunset, enjoy a dinner buffet and free time in the illuminated French Village. Round-trip cable car tickets, an English-speaking guide and round-trip transport are included, so there is little to arrange yourself.

Program

Depart in the afternoon for a quieter Ba Na Hills

Sunset options start with hotel pickup at 1:00 PM in Hoi An and between 1:30 and 2:00 PM in Da Nang. After about 1 hour 30 minutes by van you arrive at Ba Na Hills and ride the cable car up the mountain at around 3:00 PM. Morning options depart in the morning and follow the same route.

Walk the Golden Bridge in the late-afternoon light

From 3:30 to 4:30 PM, visit the Golden Bridge, Linh Ung Pagoda and the flower gardens. The soft afternoon light is ideal for photos, and with fewer visitors than during the day you can explore at a relaxed pace.

Explore the 1,487 m summit at your own pace

During 45 minutes of free time, explore the summit of Ba Na Hills. Visit the Truc Lam Tea House, Linh Phong Zen Monastery and the Campanile bell tower while enjoying the fresh mountain air and peaceful views.

Spend the evening in the illuminated French Village

On sunset options, you then head to the Beer Plaza restaurant in the French Village for dinner and free time. The lit-up village creates a peaceful, romantic evening atmosphere. The return cable car departs at around 7:00 PM, and from the lower station you travel back to your accommodation by vehicle. Drop-off is around 8:30–8:45 PM in Da Nang and around 9:00 PM in Hoi An.
