Staged for over ten years, The Quintessence of Tonkin (Tinh Hoa Bac Bo) is regarded as a must-see cultural show for visitors to Hanoi. It starts at 19:30 and runs for 60 minutes on an outdoor water stage at Baara Land in Quoc Oai, Hanoi. Shows are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays/Sundays, and you can choose Platinum, Gold or Silver section tickets or combos with a round-trip city shuttle bus.

Traditional folklore in a modern style

Traditional folk elements of the Red River Delta, the cultural center of northern Vietnam, are presented in a modern and creative way. An indigenous cast, large-scale props and an advanced sound and lighting system come together on a water stage set against Thay Mountain.

Northern Vietnam in six scenes

The show flows through six scenes: poetry, Buddha realm, nostalgia, music, happiness and festivals. Boats and lights gliding across the water and performers in traditional costumes portray the life and spirit of the people of northern Vietnam.

Easy round-trip shuttle from the city

Combo options include a round-trip shuttle bus between central Hanoi and the venue. Board at CharmVit Tower (117 Tran Duy Hung) or the Imperial Citadel (19C Hoang Dieu), and after the show the bus picks you up at the show gate and returns to the city.
