After pickup from your hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang, visit Monkey Mountain and the Marble Mountains in Da Nang in the morning, then My Son Sanctuary and a Thu Bon River boat ride after lunch, in an itinerary of about 10 hours. An English-speaking guide accompanies you, and all entrance fees, lunch, and a Vietnamese banh mi on the boat are included.

See the Lady Buddha and Bonsai Garden on Monkey Mountain

Head up Monkey Mountain in Da Nang to admire the giant Lady Buddha statue set against the mountains, and stroll through the large bonsai garden. Enjoy the fresh breeze as your guide shares stories about the site.

Explore the Caves and Pagodas of the Marble Mountains

At the Marble Mountains, first stop by a local stone carving workshop, then climb up the mountain (the elevator is optional). Visit pagodas built in the 19th century by Vietnam's last dynasty, as well as Huyen Khong Cave and Tang Chon Cave.

Continue to Am Phu Cave to learn about the Buddhist cosmology depicted inside and take photos. Afterwards, enjoy a lunch of mi quang, a Vietnamese noodle dish, at a local restaurant.

Walk Through My Son Sanctuary and Return by Boat

After dropping off and picking up travelers in Hoi An, head to My Son Sanctuary. Spend about 2 hours exploring the Champa temple ruins, learning their history from your guide and watching a traditional Champa dance performance.

Then drive to the pier and board a boat back to Hoi An along the Thu Bon River. Enjoy a Vietnamese banh mi on board while taking in the river views at dusk, and get dropped off at your hotel in Hoi An.
