Where President Chiang Kai-shek lived,
Shilin's official residence
Shilin Mansion, which was used as the official residence of Taiwan's first President Chiang Kai-shek and his wife Song Mei-ling, is a travel destination that can be healing in itself. The Shilin Mansion Park is pretty, and Chiang Kai-shek's house is also really pretty. There are many hidden photo spots here and there, so I highly recommend checking them out.
You can meet Chiang Kai-shek's life,
Shilin's official residence
Visit the home of former President Chiang Kai-shek, the most important house in Taiwan's history, where he lived for 26 years, and indirectly experience the president's daily life. Shilin Mansion was built by the Taiwan Provincial Government in 1949. After restoration work in 2006, it maintains its current appearance. Inside the official residence, you can see the official residence where President Chiang Kai-shek (Chiang Kai-shek) and his wife lived, the barracks where the guards and bodyguards were stationed, as well as a truly wonderful garden, including a pond where flowers were grown, birds were raised, and fish were encountered. So, it is a great travel spot to see Taiwan’s important history at a glance.
