Admission tickets to Taiwan's National Palace Museum and Shilin Mansion
With a package ticket!
An opportunity to learn more about Taiwan's history and culture! Visit Taiwan's National Palace Museum and Shilin Mansion. The National Palace Museum of Taiwan is the main museum that you cannot miss during your trip to Taipei, so I definitely recommend you visit it. Shilin Mansion is a place of high cultural value, where you can see various horticulture and greenhouse ecological gardens, and enter the official residence where Chiang Kai-shek and his wife lived to see how the President and his wife lived.
Visit both the National Palace Museum and Shilin Residence with one admission ticket.
National Palace Museum and Shilin Residence, Taiwan
PASS with one ticket!
Book a combo package to visit Taipei’s famous attractions, the National Palace Museum and Shilin Residence, in one day. Shilin Residence, a historical landmark in Taiwan, was built in 1949 and was the official residence of Taiwan’s first president, Chiang Kai-shek, and his wife Soong Mei-ling. There is an interesting story behind the building being painted dark green, which is to camouflage it against the surrounding forest. Enjoy the fresh air and beautiful gardens.
Also visit the Taipei Palace Museum, which was modeled after the Forbidden City in China. It is the largest museum in Asia and is considered one of the world’s four largest museums. It has approximately 690,000 artifacts, so there is a lot to see. Book a combo ticket that allows you to visit two of Taipei’s major attractions in one day at a discounted price!
Healing Travel Destination, Srin Palace
The Shilin Official Residence, which was used as the official residence by the first president, Chiang Kai-shek and his wife Soong Mei-ling, is a healing travel destination in itself. The Shilin Official Residence Park is beautiful, and Chiang Kai-shek’s house is also really pretty. There are many hidden photo spots here and there, so I highly recommend visiting them.
National Palace Museum, Taiwan
The National Palace Museum, which has been loved by many people since the airing of “Grandpas Over Flowers,” is one of the places you should never miss when traveling to Taipei. As it is the largest in Asia, it has a wide variety of exhibitions.
The National Palace Museum is the largest museum in Taiwan, displaying precious relics from the four great dynasties of Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing, spanning 50 million years of history. That’s why many people use docent tours. (There’s so much to see.) If you only go to one museum during your trip to Taiwan, I recommend the National Palace Museum.
