The Keifuku Randen Tram is operated by the private company Keifuku Electric Railroad. Randen actually consists of two lines in the west of Kyoto City. The Arashiyama Line runs east-west from Shijo Omiya Station to Keifuku Arashiyama Station. The Kitano Line branches off from the Arashiyama Line in the Katabiranotsuji area and runs to Kitano Hakubaicho Station in the north.
The tram travels from central Kyoto to Arashiyama and to northwestern Kyoto tourist attractions (Toei Kyoto Studio Park, Ninna-ji, etc.).
JR buses are also available

If the tourist destination you want to go to is far from the subway or difficult to reach, try using the JR bus! The JR bus operates from the center of Kyoto City to the Takao and Keihoku areas, operating from Kyoto Station to Ninna-ji, Takao, and Toganono in the northwestern area. You can reach your destination by bus to many historical sites and famous spots for cherry blossoms and autumn leaves.
