From Taipei: Taichung Rainbow Village & Gaomei Wetlands Day Tour

Depart from Taipei and visit
Taichung's flower market and National Theater

Board the bus in Taipei and relax on the way to Taichung. First, spend about an hour at Zhongshe Flower Market, strolling among bright flower fields, taking photos and enjoying the fragrance. Next, stop at the National Taichung Theater to admire its eye-catching modern architecture and take photos.

Taste bubble tea and Miyahara ice cream

Enjoy a cup of bubble tea, one of Taiwan's signature treats, at Chun Shui Tang. Then head to Miyahara to explore its historic building and intricate shop design, and taste its famous ice cream without queuing.

Walk Rainbow Village and watch the sunset at Gaomei Wetlands

At Rainbow Village, admire the colorful murals and street art, hear the local stories behind them and take photos. In the evening, head to Gaomei Wetlands, walk along the boardwalk in the breeze and watch the sun reflect across the vast wetlands as it sets. After the tour, you will return to Taipei Main Station, where the tour started.

※ If the boardwalk is closed due to high tide or maintenance, you can still enjoy the view from the riverside embankment path.
