An English-speaking guide and a professional driver pick you up from your Old Quarter hotel in a vintage open-top jeep. Then pass by Hanoi's historic and cultural landmarks to see many sides of the city. The tour lasts 2 to 4 hours depending on the option, and bottled water and rain ponchos (if needed) are provided.

Pass through the Old Quarter and Train Street

Drive through the alleys of the Old Quarter and pass the neo-Gothic St. Joseph's Cathedral, built during the French colonial era. Then see Hanoi Train Street up close, where the railway runs right next to local homes.

Drive around Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and West Lake

Pass through a quiet military area while learning about Vietnam's modern history, then drive past the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex with Ba Dinh Square and government buildings. Ride around West Lake, the largest lake in Hanoi, and visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, on its shore.

Visit Banana Island and B-52 Lake

Cross the bridge to Banana Island in the middle of the Red River. Just minutes from downtown, you can see a completely different side of Hanoi where local farmers live and work. Finish the tour at B-52 Lake, where the wreckage of an American B-52 bomber remains as a reminder of the Vietnam War.
