Meet your local guide at the tour office at 38 Bat Su Street for a short introduction, then set off. For about 3.5 hours, walk through the busy streets, narrow alleys and hidden corners of the Old Quarter, tasting signature Hanoi dishes at several eateries and street stalls. The tour is guided in English.

Try a variety of dishes
from banh mi to egg coffee

The sample menu includes banh mi, dry mixed chicken pho, pho rolls with beef, papaya salad with beef jerky, fried spring rolls, fried pillow cakes and shrimp cakes.

For something sweet, try sugarcane doughnut balls with mung bean filling, savory fried doughnuts, egg coffee, passion fruit jelly with tapioca pearls and pandan sticky rice with ice cream.

Visit Train Street with selected options

If you choose an option that includes Train Street, your guide takes you to Hanoi Train Street for about 30 minutes. You get one drink and a seat, and can watch the train pass right in front of you. Afterwards, you return to the Old Quarter.

Other options include small-group tours with a cyclo ride, a spa experience or a water puppet show, and a private tour with Old Quarter hotel pickup.
