This guided tour takes you by van from your hotel in Hoi An to My Son Sanctuary and back. Choose from an early morning tour that beats the crowds, an afternoon sunset tour (with or without a Thu Bon River boat trip), or a late-afternoon private tour, all led by a professional English-speaking guide. The My Son Sanctuary entrance ticket (VND 148,000) is not included, so please bring cash to buy it on site.

The early morning tour picks you up from your hotel around 5:30 AM and serves Vietnamese coffee on the way to My Son. Arrive around 6:30 AM and explore the site for about 2 hours. Before the crowds arrive, you can enjoy the calm atmosphere, take photos in the soft morning light, and finish your visit before it gets too hot.

Enjoy a Champa-style breakfast at a local restaurant

After the visit, enjoy a Champa-style meal, local mochi cakes, and seasonal fruit at a local restaurant around 9:00 AM. Vegan and vegetarian options are available. Your guide also shares how Champa culture, from food to customs, still lives on in the local community. Depart around 9:45 AM and arrive back at your hotel in Hoi An between 10:30 and 11:00 AM.

Enjoy a Cham performance and a Thu Bon River boat in the afternoon

The afternoon tour picks you up from your hotel in Hoi An between 12:30 and 1:00 PM and arrives at My Son Sanctuary around 2:00 PM. Explore the ancient structures as your guide explains the history and architectural techniques of the Cham people, and watch a Cham performance. Banh mi is provided.

Around 4:00 PM, guests on the boat option head to the pier for a Thu Bon River boat trip, while guests on the option without a boat return directly to Hoi An by vehicle. The tour ends at your hotel around 5:30 to 6:00 PM.
