From Hanoi by limousine, explore Mua Cave,
Trang An and Hoa Lu in Ninh Binh in one day

After pickup from your accommodation in Hanoi Old Quarter at around 7:15–7:30 AM, travel about 2 hours by limousine to Ninh Binh. With an English-speaking guide, enjoy a hike at Mua Cave and a bike ride, a farm visit and lunch, a sampan boat ride in Trang An and the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, returning to your Old Quarter accommodation between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM. Groups are limited to 9 people.

Climb Ngoa Long Mountain for views over Tam Coc
and cycle through the countryside

Arrive at Mua Cave at around 10:00 AM and hike up the mountain. From the top, enjoy sweeping views of Tam Coc village and Ninh Binh. Then ride a bicycle through the countryside, surrounded by the unique limestone ranges of the karst landscape.

Get a glimpse of farm life at a local home

At around 11:30 AM, visit a local farmer's home and taste traditional tea and candy offered as a warm welcome. Learn about the VAC model (garden, pond and livestock pen), the daily life of Vietnamese farmers and the ancestor worship culture of Vietnamese families. At noon, enjoy a set lunch of Vietnamese dishes at a local restaurant.

Ride a sampan in Trang An and visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu

At around 1:30 PM, board a sampan boat and glide along the Sao Khe River in Trang An, a World Heritage Site known as "Ha Long Bay on land", past caves, limestone mountains and ancient temples.

At around 4:15 PM, visit the temples of Vietnam's first emperor in the ancient capital of Hoa Lu. Learn about the 10th-century Dinh and Le dynasties and the early Ly dynasty, before King Ly Cong Uan moved the capital to Thang Long in 1010.
