Great time with Aden and our little motley crew of 3! We are some delicious dumplings, ochazuke, oden, gyoza, shumail, yakitori and tons of tasty adult beverages! Aden took some fun photos of us that we will help us remember our time here in Fukuoka! Keep in mind that food and drinks are not included in the price (¥1000 is deducted from each tab at each establishment, then guests will cover the balance). We didn’t mind because we were 1 party, and Aden’s insider knowledge helped make our 1st foray into Yatai culture so much easier and less awkward! Plus let’s not forget the moments captured of our time together - PRICELESS!

Aden was a great guide! He spoke English well, and was able to quickly establish rapport with me. Thus, the tour felt like hanging out with a friend. We went to a Yatai and a couple of izakayas. I just let him order but informed him in advance of my food allergies. He made good choices and we enjoyed the food, drinks, and traded stories. I was really happy with this tour as I’ve always wanted to dine at a yatai but found it intimidating because of the possible language barrier. If you’re like me then please join this tour, you won’t regret it! Also, Aden is a photographer so I have awesome pictures too!
