Program
Depart from Sapporo Odori and
tour the winter highlights of Biei and Furano
Meet at 7:40 AM at Exit 31 of Sapporo Subway Odori Station and depart by bus at 7:50 AM. A Chinese-, English- and Japanese-speaking guide accompanies you, and depending on conditions there is a short break of about 10 minutes at a rest area on the way there and back. The tour returns to Sapporo Odori at around 5:55 PM.
Enjoy the snowscapes of the Christmas Tree and Shikisai-no-Oka
First, spend about 15 minutes at the Christmas Tree, Biei's iconic tree standing alone in vast snowy fields, and take photos. Then enjoy the winter scenery of the snow-covered Shikisai-no-Oka hills for about 60 minutes.
Weather permitting, you can choose to enjoy winter activities such as snowmobiling. Activity fees are at your own expense; activities usually start in mid to late December and depend on snow conditions and seasonal operations.
Take a lunch break at Furano Herb Garden
Relax over lunch for about 60 minutes at Furano Herb Garden. Meals are at your own expense. Ingredient information is shown for each buffet dish so guests with dietary restrictions can choose accordingly, and guests with strict dietary needs are advised to bring their own food.
Visit Shirahige Falls and Ningle Terrace
At Shirahige Falls, spend about 25 minutes admiring the waterfall pouring into the snowy landscape and the blue waters of the Biei River. Finally, stroll around Ningle Terrace for about 40 minutes and browse the log-cabin shops nestled in Furano's snowy forest.
